Nwangwu dealing with injuries; return game production down from 2025 touchdown pace.

Nwangwu has been battling injuries in 2026, limiting his availability for return duties. Even when healthy, the Jets' return game has not performed at the level of 2025, when Nwangwu returned a kickoff for a touchdown. The team's longest kick return this season is only 36 yards, and opposing teams are now specifically game-planning to prevent Nwangwu and Williams from generating big returns.
