Yahoo Sports NFL on Kirk Cousins

Cousins' starting job in jeopardy despite 16 TDs; Raiders exploring QB change.

Cousins' starting role is in jeopardy despite strong individual performance; the Raiders are 3-4 and have lost four straight games, prompting coach Klint Kubiak to say the team is 'thinking about everything' including personnel changes. Cousins has thrown for 1,877 yards and an NFL-best 16 touchdowns this season, but the franchise will eventually move away from him in favor of No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza. Cousins acknowledged his time in the role is limited, especially if losses continue, and said he would step aside if Mendoza makes the team better.
