Yahoo Sports NFL on Sam Darnold

Darnold throws costly red-zone INT; has seven picks despite missing significant time.

Darnold threw a costly interception into the end zone in the first half against Kansas City, a key turnover that prevented the Seahawks from building a larger halftime lead; the source notes he had already thrown seven interceptions this season despite missing one full game and all but a handful of snaps in another, and his interception in overtime against Denver led directly to that game's game-winning field goal. The pattern of interceptions in key spots is described as alarming.
