Yahoo Sports NFL on Garrett Wilson

Jets coaching fails to target Wilson consistently despite offensive struggles.

The source criticizes the Jets' offensive coaching for phasing their number one receiver out of the passing game for long stretches, noting it is difficult to comprehend how the Jets are so incapable of targeting Wilson when the offense is struggling. The source argues the Jets won't even employ basic tactics to free up Wilson like giving him a steady diet of snaps from the slot where keying on a receiver defensively becomes much more difficult, suggesting coaching staff mismanagement is limiting his fantasy production.
