Yahoo Sports NFL on Kirk Cousins

Kubiak confirms Cousins as starter despite four-game losing streak and Mendoza pressure.

Kubiak affirmed Cousins remains the Raiders' starting quarterback with no controversy, citing his experience and familiarity with the offense as central to keeping him on the field despite a 3-4 record and four consecutive losses. The coach stated 'Kirk is our starting quarterback' and 'Kirk's playing really well, and we're in the hunt,' prioritizing winning now over developing the future at the position.
