CMC was injured so Black got more run; Shanahan/CMC context suggests small but real injury-extension risk; comments note he's 'never going to considerably eat into CMac's value' vs. 'high value handcuff' framing

High-value CMC handcuff with lottery-ticket upside if CMC misses extended time; community split on whether he's a genuine breakout or temporary fill-in. Early-season hype fizzled until CMC injury opened opportunity. Multiple comments warn he won't eat into CMC's workload long-term; one CMC owner frames him as 10% chance of multi-week RB1 production (Ollie Gordon tier) if CMC sits. Consensus: grab if bench space allows and you own CMC, but don't overpay.
