He reported being 'banged up a little bit' with the hamstring and also dealing with a bad back that was aggravated by the hamstring problem. Barkley said his body 'is just not responding the way I want it to respond right now,' and coach Nick Sirianni confirmed he was on a pitch count and 'played a little less than what we initially thought.' The 2024 Offensive Player of the Year credited the team's trainers and strength coaches for getting him on the field at all.
