Yahoo Sports NFL on Saquon Barkley

Barkley's signature explosiveness missing in return; coach notes lack of typical breakaway ability.

Barkley's explosiveness was noticeably missing in his return; coach Nick Sirianni noted that on a 29-yard run on his first carry, 'normally with Saquon, you see him break out of that, and it's hard to catch him in those situations,' but that signature playmaking ability was absent. Sirianni said Barkley was on a pitch count and played less than initially planned, though his presence and play-making ability were still valued by the team.
