Arrowhead Pride on Kenneth Walker III

Walker's reception negated by penalty; limited to flat routes as run game struggled early.

Kenneth Walker had a 12-yard reception negated by an illegal shift penalty on Travis Kelce that would have set up a third-and-12. Later, on a third-and-short play, Walker was targeted in the flat on a bootleg look designed for a deep shot to Xavier Worthy, but Mahomes didn't give the deep ball much of a chance and tried to thread one to Walker instead. The source notes the run game was stuffed early, forcing the Chiefs to abandon the run quickly.
