Arrowhead Pride on Xavier Worthy

Worthy was open for chunk plays but Mahomes missed opportunities; baited into poor decisions.

On a third-and-short play, Xavier Worthy was on track to be open for a potential chunk play due to the space between him and the high safety. However, Mahomes ultimately didn't give the deep ball much of a chance and tried to thread one to Kenneth Walker instead, missing the opportunity. Later, on a mesh concept, Mahomes expected cornerback Devon Weatherspoon to run with Worthy, but Weatherspoon stepped up and forced Mahomes to slow up while the safety picked up Worthy from depth, baiting Mahomes into leaving the pocket.
