FantasyPros Articles on Derrick Henry
From the article
Derrick Henry is my favorite buy-low after consecutive games of 4.5 and 5.4 half-PPR points, including just 45 rushing yards against Cincinnati in Week 7. I still have him at RB6 for the rest of the season, compared with RB8 in FantasyPros ECR. He has received 17 carries in each of those disappointing games, so there is still a substantial workload to buy.
STACKED’s take
Henry's 17-carry workload and Lamar Jackson's return support RB6 ranking despite recent slump.
Henry is a buy-low candidate after consecutive disappointing games (4.5 and 5.4 half-PPR points, including just 45 rushing yards against Cincinnati in Week 7). Jay Henry Ocho still ranks him at RB6 for the rest of the season compared to RB8 in FantasyPros ECR. Despite the slump, Henry has received 17 carries in each of those disappointing games, indicating substantial workload remains. Baltimore is hopeful Lamar Jackson returns in Week 8, and the source is betting on that offense producing more scoring opportunities with Jackson back. Jay Henry Ocho would offer Josh Jacobs and Jameson Williams for Henry, using Williams' two-touchdown Week 7 to convert two lower-ranked players into a top-six running back.
