Yahoo Sports NFL on Jonathan Taylor

Taylor upgrade over Jones could transform Vikings' ground game and defense.

Taylor is positioned as a significant upgrade over Aaron Jones for the Vikings' running game; Jones has posted -0.6 rushing yards over expected per play (35th among 40 qualified RBs) and is dealing with a knee injury. Taylor, 27 years old and under contract through 2028, would give Minnesota's offense a true identity and pair well with Brian Flores' aggressive defense. The source frames this as a premium capital spend worth considering for new GM Nolan Teasley.
