Mahomes addresses team discipline and preparation intensity amid Rice incident and kicker tensions.

Mahomes, in his 10th season with the Chiefs and serving as a team captain, addressed reports of kicking wide receiver Rashee Rice from a meeting, saying "We've had the right conversations now. We're moving in the right direction." He also noted that he and Travis Kelce had the same mentality heading into a recent game and were not in a joking mood, taking their preparation seriously. Additionally, Mahomes discussed his long-standing warmup routine conflicts with opposing kickers, noting that Baltimore's Justin Tucker had pulled similar stunts on three occasions over seven years.
