FantasyPros Articles on Bo Nix
From the article
It's been hard to trust Bo Nix in fantasy football this season. Last week, the former Oregon star had his best game, totaling 26.2 fantasy points. However, he completed only 51.7% of his passes, missing the 61% mark for the fifth time this season. More importantly, the third-year pro scored only 49.2% of his fantasy points with his arm (12.9). The other 50.8% came on the ground (13.3), with the Arizona Cardinals allowing a 62-yard rushing touchdown to the former Oregon star. No one should expect Nix to have that much success on the ground again this season.
STACKED’s take
Nix's Week 7 spike was fluky; expect regression vs. Chiefs' elite QB defense.
Bo Nix is a Week 8 lineup landmine despite his 26.2-point performance in Week 7. He completed only 51.7% of passes (missing the 61% mark for the fifth time this season) and scored 50.8% of his fantasy points on the ground (13.3 rushing yards) rather than through the air (12.9 passing points), benefiting from a 62-yard rushing touchdown against Arizona that shouldn't be expected to repeat. Before last week, Nix averaged 11.6 fantasy points per game. The Chiefs have held opposing quarterbacks to 12 fantasy points per game (third-fewest in the NFL), with more games without giving up a passing touchdown (two) than games surrendering two or more (one). Kansas City held Nix to only 5.4 fantasy points in their Week 1 meeting.
