Dart suffered damage to the MCL, PCL, and meniscus in his left knee. There was no damage to the ACL. According to orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kyle Flik, the extent of damage to the PCL will determine how quickly Dart can return. If it had to be reconstructed, which is unknown right now, a return for the playoffs would be out of the question.

Dart targeting playoff return if Giants qualify; PCL reconstruction status unclear.

Dart suffered MCL, PCL, and meniscus damage to his left knee in Week 2 against the Rams with no ACL damage. GM Joe Schoen said Dart aims to return for the playoffs if the Giants make them, though orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kyle Flik noted that if the PCL required reconstruction—status currently unknown—a playoff return would be unlikely. Dart is not yet weight-bearing and remains on crutches but is attending team and quarterback meetings.
