Williams poised for volume increase in slot role with McLaurin sidelined.

Coach Dan Quinn highlighted rookie wide receiver Antonio Williams to receive more targets following Terry McLaurin's absence, stating 'I would say the natural progression is probably Antonio some more...a higher volume.' Williams has caught 18 passes for 205 yards and one touchdown while averaging just 4.3 targets per game (fourth on the team). Williams works from the slot on 46.3 percent of his snaps compared to McLaurin's 20.2 percent, running primarily short-to-intermediate routes (hitches 21.3%, out routes 16.2%, crossers 15.4%). Scott Turner believes Williams is 'the guy that's gonna get the targets now that Terry is out.'
