Yahoo Sports NFL on Garrett Wilson
From the article
The good news: Garrett Wilson confirmed he has not requested a trade. The bad news: Garrett Wilson had to confirm he has not requested a trade. Wilson has become an 'it's always something' player. His latest something is Omar Cooper Jr.'s cannon-shot return to the lineup over the past two weeks. Cooper is looking every bit his first-round pedigree. Wilson, meanwhile has been held under 50 yards three of the past four weeks.
STACKED’s take
Wilson sidelined by Cooper Jr.'s emergence; under 50 yards in 3 of 4 weeks; get-right spot vs. Vegas.
Garrett Wilson confirmed he has not requested a trade, but the source notes 'the bad news: Garrett Wilson had to confirm he has not requested a trade,' suggesting organizational friction. Wilson has become an 'it's always something' player; his latest issue is Omar Cooper Jr.'s return to the lineup over the past two weeks. Cooper is looking every bit his first-round pedigree while Wilson has been held under 50 yards three of the past four weeks (exception: Week 5 eruption vs. Cleveland). Although Week 8 opponent Las Vegas is weaker on the ground than through the air, it is still very weak through the air, positioning this as a get-right setup for New York's No. 1 receiver.
