Young's MVP-caliber start has reversed in two straight losses.

Young's early-season MVP-caliber performance has reversed sharply; after an impressive first five games, he has struggled in back-to-back losses to Tampa Bay (43-13) and Green Bay (27-19). Against the Packers, he had just 65 yards at halftime with frequent pressure and an uncomfortable pocket, throwing short and incomplete on critical fourth-down attempts late in the game. The source notes the Panthers' early positive momentum has taken a big hit in less than a week.
