Turf Show Times on Brian Thomas Jr.

Thomas Jr.'s vertical routes could complement Nacua; trade price reasonable.

Ted Nguyen of The Athletic suggests trading for Brian Thomas Jr. could help swing the Super Bowl odds back in the Rams' favor. Nguyen proposes the Rams send the Jacksonville Jaguars a third-round pick in 2027 and a fifth-round pick in 2028 in exchange for the one-time Pro Bowler. Nguyen argues Thomas Jr.'s vertical route tree would complement Puka Nacua, and that the Rams should have prioritized a receiver in the draft instead of taking quarterback Ty Simpson with the 13th pick, especially given Davante Adams' age (33) and hamstring issues and Nacua's injury and off-field concerns.
