Broncos beat writer Zac Stevens quoted Broncos head coach Sean Payton as saying of Coleman after the game: "Got to get him more touches. Definitely." Payton has long favored two- or three-man RB committees dating back to his early years as the head coach of the Saints. But it appears that Coleman will be the head of the Broncos' RB committee.

Payton signaled Coleman will lead Denver's RB committee after high-ankle sprain return.

Coleman returned from a high-ankle sprain last week with 9-54-0 rushing and 2-15-0 receiving on 30 snaps (RJ Harvey 16 snaps, JK Dobbins 14 snaps). Broncos head coach Sean Payton said after the game, "Got to get him more touches. Definitely." Payton has long favored two- or three-man RB committees, but it appears Coleman will be the head of Denver's RB committee as the most well-rounded back. Ranked as high-end RB3 this week in a tricky matchup against Kansas City's run defense (8th in DVOA, 13th in EPA per rush).
