Thomas' penalties threaten roster spot despite career-high reception total

Thomas' on-field play was trending positively, but Week 7 was a setback: he posted a career-high 3 receptions for 25 yards but was called for multiple penalties that hurt the offense. As a young player without a solidified roster spot, these mistakes are costly; Ben Johnson holds WRs accountable, so Thomas may not get offensive snaps next game.
