Washington's 26% target share and elite efficiency vs. man coverage make him a strong play.

Washington has emerged as Trevor Lawrence's primary receiving option, commanding approximately 26% of targets when on the field—significant usage for a player who doesn't get discussed enough in fantasy circles. Coming out of Jacksonville's bye week, the matchup against Indianapolis sets up well: the Colts play man coverage on nearly half their defensive snaps, and against man coverage this season, Washington has averaged 0.66 PPR points per route run, outstanding efficiency. Indianapolis just traded away DeForest Buckner, removing one of its most established defensive linemen, which should make things easier for Lawrence and the Jacksonville offense. Washington doesn't need Jacksonville to abandon the running game to produce; he's established himself as a featured part of the passing attack. The one concern is overall passing volume if Jacksonville gets out to a big lead, but the source is not overthinking a player with this target share against a defense playing this much man coverage.
