Yahoo Sports NFL on Jahmyr Gibbs

Gibbs used as pass outlet in 21 personnel and benefits from pin-and-pull rushing concepts.

Gibbs is deployed as a pass-game outlet in 21 personnel (two running backs and one tight end) where Sione Vaki stays in to protect, allowing Gibbs to be an outlet for Goff's passing game. Additionally, the Lions have found success running pin-and-pull concepts to get outside leverage and open rushing lanes for Gibbs, as evidenced by the final offensive play from the Packers game where Gibbs took a toss-left with multiple blockers pulling to create a massive rushing lane.
