Yahoo Sports NFL on Amon-Ra St. Brown

St. Brown's outside deployment (7-of-9, 109 yards) continues vs. Vikings; pairs well with Williams.

St. Brown caught seven of his nine targets for 109 yards against the Packers last week when deployed more on the outside; the Lions expect to continue this approach against the Vikings' zone coverage to get St. Brown isolated and give him more space to operate. The Lions may also give St. Brown choice routes where he can adjust the depth based on who the Vikings blitz. Additionally, when St. Brown and Jameson Williams align to the same side of the formation, the Lions' passing offense has averaged 8.0 yards per play with an 18.3% explosive-play rate, with Williams stretching the zone deep to open things underneath for St. Brown.
