NBC Sports Rotoworld on Rome Odunze
From the article
Rome Odunze is still in search of his first touchdown of the 2026 season. The third-year receiver has gotten off to an underwhelming start for his fantasy managers this season, finishing no higher than WR21 in PPR leagues this season. Odunze's struggles don't only stem from a lack of touchdowns, but also a frustrating target share, as his 38 targets rank 37th among all receivers, while his 17 percent target share is tied for 50th.
STACKED’s take
Odunze's lack of touchdowns and low target share make him a bench play vs. Seahawks.
Entering Week 8, Odunze is still in search of his first touchdown of the 2026 season. The third-year receiver has gotten off to an underwhelming start, finishing no higher than WR21 in PPR leagues this season, with that being his only top-24 WR finish to date. His struggles stem from both a lack of touchdowns and a frustrating target share: his 38 targets rank 37th among all receivers, while his 17 percent target share is tied for 50th with several other underwhelming fantasy producers. Last week against the Patriots, Odunze went for 69 receiving yards (his second-highest total this season) but had to make the most of just five targets; he has been targeted only nine times over the last two weeks. With a tough road matchup with the Seahawks on tap, Odunze could be best left on fantasy benches in Week 8.
