Wide receiver Josh Downs would prefer to be playing for someone other than the Colts, but that's the uniform he will be in this Sunday. Downs didn't confirm a report this week that he requested a trade and said only that he's open to anything that comes, but head coach Shane Steichen confirmed that Downs has asked to be moved at a Friday press conference.

Downs requested trade but will play Sunday; contract year uncertainty looms.

Josh Downs requested a trade from the Colts and expressed a preference to play elsewhere, though head coach Shane Steichen confirmed Downs will play against the Jaguars despite the trade request. Downs is in the final year of his contract with 26 catches for 307 yards on the season. The trade request and potential roster uncertainty create near-term role and opportunity risk for fantasy purposes.
