Video: These Players Are About to Smash in Week 8
The other ladder of the week is a solo pick here, and it's Ladd McConkey higher than 46 and 1/2 receiving yards. I like the ladder here because 46 and 1/2 is very attainable... Everything's going to be on Ladd and if that hits he can start to rack up. Like they need to give him 10 to 12 targets this weekend if they want any shot.

Positive signalProjection

Chargers WR over 46.5 yards (attainable) or 100+ yards (6.5x); needs 10-12 targets to win

Primary prop pick: over 46.5 receiving yards. The source likes this ladder because 46.5 is very attainable; McConkey opened the season with three catches and 60 yards on the first drive before suffering multiple injuries (cracked ribs, foot injury, concussion) that sidelined him. Now facing a Rams defense that allows increased targets and yards per reception to wide receivers, and with the Chargers playing from behind and needing to throw, McConkey should see elevated volume. The source notes McConkey was clearly a league winner to open the year and sentiment has been pushed down by subsequent injuries, creating value at this prop. Aggressive secondary recommendation: over 100 receiving yards with 6.5x multiplier (or 13x as solo pick to 120 yards). The source projects McConkey will need 10–12 targets this weekend for the Chargers to have any shot at winning; with the ground game unlikely to produce and tight ends facing a bad matchup, everything will be on McConkey.
