Video: Am I Really Starting This Guy? (Week 8 RB Rankings)
Jaylen Warren I have at the running back 17... Rico Dowel is still a big part of this offense... the only rush the team had inside the red zone in their game in week seven was a rush to Rico Dowel, not to Jaylen Warren... you're starting Jaylen Warren. You're very glad to have him. Would I go out and like specifically try and trade for Jaylen Warren right now? I don't really think that I would.

NeutralRole

Ranked 17th; start him but don't trade for him; Dowel limits upside.

Ranked 17th despite strong Week 7 performance (RB19 finish). Rico Dowel remains significant part of Steelers offense and received only red-zone rush in Week 7, not Warren. While Steelers' pass-heavy approach and Aaron Rodgers' preference for throwing to running backs create expected fantasy points, Warren has not fully realized the "featured player" role that coaches Mike McCarthy and Brian Angelino discussed. Source says "you're starting Jaylen Warren. You're very glad to have him" but would not specifically trade for him: "Would I go out and like specifically try and trade for Jaylen Warren right now? I don't really think that I would."
