Video: Week 2 Running Back Rankings & Tiers
Akers looked incredible. He only scored 14 fantasy points, but just watching that game, every time he touched the ball, he looked significantly more explosive and just better than Devin Singletary overall. But, the New York Giants are 7-point dogs here playing against the Los Angeles Rams. And I am smart enough to know that I am dumber than the market makers. The market makers that are setting that line of seven points and saying that the Rams have a 70-plus percent chance to win this game, they know more than I do. They're more intelligent, they have access to more information, and with that, I am a little concerned of what the Cam Akers role may look like if this team trails significantly because we have not seen Akers in that role just yet.

Tape looks great but untested in negative script against favored Rams

Cam Akers looked explosive and significantly more efficient than Devin Singletary in Week 1 despite scoring only 14 fantasy points, but the New York Giants are 7-point underdogs against the Los Angeles Rams (Rams have 74% win probability). The source is concerned about Akers' role if the Giants trail significantly, as he has not yet been tested in a negative game script.
