Britain Covey is out this week with a knee injury so the Eagles will likely turn to rookie Makai Lemon for that role. Makai came in, nothing flustered him out there. Of course, Lemon will have another big workload on offense this week without DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle).

Rookie Lemon taking over punt return duties; getting expanded offensive role.

Rookie Makai Lemon will likely take over as punt returner this week with Britain Covey out with a knee injury. Special teams coordinator Michael Clay praised Lemon's composure, noting he came in during the Cowboys game and wasn't flustered. Lemon will also have a significant offensive workload this week with DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) unavailable, and Clay noted Lemon is progressing well as both a receiver and punt returner.
