using C.J. Donaldson quite a bit in replacement of a pass-catching tight end... Donaldson is basically like playing a fullback... the offensive line is so bad, and Juwan Johnson... he's just not a natural or instinctive run blocker, so his role is diminishing.

Donaldson's fullback role reduces pass-catching TE opportunities for Saints.

Donaldson is being used 'quite a bit in replacement of a pass-catching tight end' for the Saints, playing a fullback-style role. This usage is driven by the Saints' poor offensive line and Juwan Johnson's inability to be an effective run blocker, resulting in Donaldson taking snaps that would otherwise go to a traditional pass-catching tight end.
