I'm going to run the ball like I want to run the ball. And if I'm going to continue to get flagged for it or fined for it, man, I guess I'm going to play for free.

Skattebo fined for use-of-helmet violation; vows to keep playing physical style.

Giants running back Cam Skattebo was fined $7,073 for illegal use of the helmet during the Week 7 win over the Texans; he was the only player among eight league-wide use-of-helmet violators to be flagged in real time. Skattebo expressed defiance about the penalty, stating he will continue to run the ball aggressively and play hard regardless of fines, signaling his commitment to a physical running style despite NFL enforcement.
