Negative signalRole

Aiyuk's feud with 49ers contrasts sharply with returning players.

Aiyuk's offseason contract dispute and stated unwillingness to do business with the 49ers created a negative perception of the organization; his stance stands in stark contrast to Buckner, Greenlaw, and Samuel, who all returned to San Francisco, making Aiyuk appear as an outlier and potentially damaging the 49ers' free agent and draft prospect recruitment efforts.
