Blogging The Boys on Brevyn Spann-Ford

9 catches, 79 yards through 7 games; limited opportunities and production despite increased snaps.

Spann-Ford has recorded just 9 receptions for 79 yards on 13 targets through 7 games, leaving plenty to be desired. Though he saw a season-high 52.9% snap share vs Philadelphia and caught both targets for 11 yards, his overall production remains limited. The source notes he hasn't received enough opportunities in the passing game to become a consistent contributor and is being used primarily as a blocker. The Cowboys' tight end position is being sold, with Spann-Ford unable to provide reliable production despite increased snaps.
