Maye is the NFL's most productive scrambler this season with elite play extension.

Maye is described as one of the NFL's best quarterbacks not just for his pin-point passing and performance within Josh McDaniels' offensive structure, but especially for his scramble ability; he is noted as 'one of the NFL's most productive scramblers this season' and excels at both extending plays as a passer and running; Maye emphasized the importance of receivers keeping their eyes on him during scrambles and working back to the football rather than running into the same area.
