From the article

Jauan Jennings spent five years with the San Francisco 49ers and apparently he had enough of Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch. The 49ers had agreed to a trade with the Minnesota Vikings to reunite with Jennings, according to Jay Glazer, but they wanted Jennings to FaceTime with Shanahan and Lynch first. Jennings said something along the lines of 'no thanks' and opted to stay with the Vikings, per Glazer.

Jennings rejects 49ers trade, stays with Vikings despite 4 catches, 43 yards this season.

Jennings rejected a 49ers trade offer contingent on a FaceTime with Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch, choosing to remain with the Vikings despite minimal production this season (4 catches, 43 yards). This represents a dramatic decline from his 2024 form with Shanahan (~1,000 receiving yards) and 2025 with the 49ers (9 TDs), signaling either dissatisfaction with the 49ers organization or confidence in his Vikings role despite current underutilization.
