Penix threw four interceptions in shutout loss to Tampa Bay's defense

Penix had a historically poor performance in Week 8 against Tampa Bay, throwing four interceptions in wet conditions. He was intercepted by Alex Anzalone twice in the first quarter, Jacob Parrish on a fourth-down attempt in the second quarter, and Zyon McCollum in the fourth quarter. Penix's only significant completion was a 76-yard catch-and-run to Jahan Dotson late in the game. The Falcons' offense was completely stalled by Tampa Bay's defense, resulting in a shutout loss.
