Jones benched mid-game; Colts evaluating QB role after poor performance

Jones was benched in the fourth quarter after throwing his second interception in a 42-7 loss to Jacksonville, replaced by Anthony Richardson. Head coach Shane Steichen indicated the Colts are evaluating everything following the performance, suggesting Jones's role may be in flux. Jones has shown a dramatic decline from his strong start to the 2025 season and may still be limited by the torn Achilles that ended his previous season.
