Yahoo Sports NFL on Kirk Cousins

Cousins threw three TDs (tied for league lead) and went 4-for-4 in red zone.

Kirk Cousins quieted speculation about the Raiders potentially starting No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza by delivering a strong performance: 19 of 26 completions with three touchdown passes (his fourth game this season with three TDs, tied for the league lead). The Raiders improved to 4-for-4 in the red zone after going 3-for-10 in the past two games, and went 7 of 11 on third down after going 3 for 14 the previous week, demonstrating improved efficiency.
