On the right side of the field, Jacobs is running an out route... At the snap, Golden pushes vertically while Jacobs releases with an outside angle. The inside defender (Okereke) hops over Golden to pick up Jacobs, so they're in straight man assignments... When Jacobs cuts back inside on an Angle route, there's nothing really to be done about it... Love puts it on Jacobs and Jacobs uses his body to shield the ball from Okereke.

Jacobs was featured in multiple plays: on Play 1, he aligned in the backfield running an out route while also executing a shuffle motion at the snap to move defenders. On Play 3 (3rd & 1 inside the 5-yard line), Jacobs acted as a TE on the left side in 12 personnel, releasing with an outside angle before cutting back inside on an angle route. Bobby Okereke overcommitted to the outside trying to pick up Jacobs, leaving him open; Jacobs then used his body to shield the ball from Okereke for the touchdown.
