Silver And Black Pride on Malik Benson

Benson healthy scratch for first time; team prefers White and Young at wide receiver.

Rookie sixth-round pick Malik Benson was a healthy scratch for the first time against the Jets. The team valued Cody White and Dareke Young over Benson and fellow rookie fourth-round pick Dont'e Thornton. Both Benson and Thornton were training camp heroes as rookies but have not done much in the regular season.
