Negative signalInjury

Lamar Jackson thumb injury likely sidelines him at least a month; season outlook dire.

Star QB suffered a thumb injury on the Ravens' first offensive play of Week 8 against Buffalo and exited without return. The source indicates the injury appears to be a dislocation or worse, with Jackson expected to be sidelined at least a month. This is a catastrophic blow to Baltimore's season outlook, as the team lacks the talent to overcome losing their superstar quarterback; without Jackson, the Ravens' playoff contention is severely compromised and they may become sellers at the trade deadline.
