Pride Of Detroit on Jameson Williams

Williams' controversial taunting penalty cost Lions a touchdown in narrow victory.

Wide receiver Jameson Williams was called for a taunting penalty that the source describes as an awful call. The source questions the logic of the penalty, noting that spinning the ball near a foot is treated differently than just spinning the football, and suggests Williams didn't plant the ball by the feet on purpose but simply put it down to celebrate. The source indicates this penalty, along with St. Brown's, cost Detroit a touchdown and made the game unnecessarily stressful.
