PlayerProfiler Fantasy Football Podcast Network on Kaelon Black

Black is highest-value handcuff with CMC hamstring injury, but lacks standalone flex value.

Kalon Black is 23.4% rostered and the source allocates 2-5% FAB, cautioning against spending heavily given San Francisco's bye week. Black scored a touchdown in Week 7 with 12 carries for 63 yards and 3 targets (1 catch for -4 yards). Over the last four weeks, he has averaged 6-6-8-12 carries per game. The source identifies Black as the highest-value handcuff in fantasy football currently, given Christian McCaffrey's hamstring injury and age. However, the source notes that Black has not demonstrated standalone value outside of last week's 11.9-point performance and should be viewed primarily as a handcuff rather than a flex option.
