Coleman dominates with 68% snaps, 15 touches; positioned to take over backfield.

Coleman took a massive step forward in Week 8 with RJ Harvey sidelined, playing 68% of snaps and touching the ball 15 times. After JK Dobbins started with the first 5 carries, Coleman dominated the second half, out-snapping Dobbins 18-1 in the final two quarters. Coleman made key plays including a 52-yard catch-and-run and a 5-yard touchdown run. The source projects Coleman is set to fully take over the backfield with a favorable upcoming schedule (Panthers, Raiders, Steelers, Dolphins, Jets, Raiders, Bills before the bye). The only risk is a potential running back trade by Denver before the deadline.
