Yahoo Sports NFL on Justin Herbert

Herbert's Chargers haven't scored a TD in 27 possessions; McDaniel pairing a 'colossal dud'.

Herbert is the quarterback of a 0-7 Chargers team that has not scored a touchdown in nine quarters and 27 possessions, the longest drought mentioned in the source. The offense is dysfunctional despite Herbert and offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel being paired as a 'dynamic duo' entering the season; instead the pairing has been described as 'a colossal dud.' Herbert acknowledged turnovers as the primary offensive problem needing cleanup.
