Yahoo Sports NFL on Joe Burrow

Burrow's 462 yards, 5 TDs, 1 rushing TD in OT win breaks Bengals' pattern.

Burrow delivered a 43-36 overtime win for Cincinnati against Tennessee despite throwing three interceptions to Amani Hooker; he posted 462 passing yards, five passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown (the latter sealing the win in overtime). The source notes that while Burrow may have been the primary culprit in putting his team in jeopardy, he rescued the team in crunch time. Cincinnati has had a bad habit of stumbling to losses against undermanned foes or coming up short in shootouts in recent seasons, so this win provided hope that things might be different. Burrow noted after the game, 'We lose that game for the last three years.'
