Brown out Week 8 with ankle and knee injuries; limited cutting ability sidelines star.

A.J. Brown was ruled out of New England's divisional matchup against Miami with ankle and knee injuries; the star receiver couldn't practice during the week as the injuries continued to limit his ability to cut and accelerate at full speed. To avoid further damage to either area, the Patriots kept Brown sidelined. His absence forced Drake Maye to rely more on New England's receiving corps while Brown continues progressing through treatment.
