From the article
With Tyrone Tracy Jr. on IR with a hamstring injury, the Giants come out of their bye with Cam Skattebo and Devin Singletary as their top two running backs. Skattebo is ostensibly the lead back, but the Giants cut his playing time a few weeks ago when Skattebo's ball security became an issue.
STACKED’s take
Singletary could see flex-worthy touches if Giants don't acquire a RB before deadline.

Skattebo is ostensibly the lead back, but the Giants cut his playing time a few weeks ago when Skattebo's ball security became an issue. The 29-year-old Singletary has been a useful jack-of-all-trades RB throughout his career, averaging 4.4 yards per carry over seven-plus NFL seasons and has always been a very capable pass catcher. It's possible the Giants trade for a running back ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline and have been mentioned among potential suitors for the Colts' Jonathan Taylor. But if the Giants stand pat, Singletary might get enough touches against the stumbling Eagles in Week 9 to make him at least flex-worthy.
