Johnson was an absolute monster on his five catches for 128 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. He was almost entirely responsible for Kansas City's shot at a last-second win and looked like an excellent weapon for Patrick Mahomes.

Positive signalRole

Johnson is a strong PPR waiver add with increased offensive role ahead.

Johnson is not taking over the backfield from Kenneth Walker III but emerged as an excellent weapon for Patrick Mahomes in Week 8, catching five passes for 128 yards and a touchdown plus a 15-yard carry. The source notes he was almost entirely responsible for Kansas City's shot at a last-second win and should see increased usage moving forward, making him a strong waiver-wire add in PPR leagues with bench depth.
